Imagine 

Verb (used with object), im·ag·ined, im·ag·in·ing. to form a mental image of (something not actually present to the senses). To think, believe, or fancy.

When I was thinking about my upcoming holiday issue I wanted to bring the word “imagine” to light. 

There are so many things that can happen in this beautiful life if we just use our imagination for good. 

This issue is so special to me for so many reasons. 

I worked on many of the stories myself in NYC and formed the teams, creative directed, produced, curated and styled. It was very important to give some of our next generation of photographers a chance for a beautiful editorial with the support of what I call “The Titanium Class of Creatives.”

I’d love to thank Linh Nguyen, Lijha Stewart, Jazz Style and Angelina Scantlebury for working on this issue and giving William Thacker an opportunity to work with a dream team. You really outdid yourselves and this was a long awaited goal for me to work with you all. Thank you for bringing your souls to the work. 

I get to start 2023 on top with Ivan Aguirre and Ness De Luna’s incredible work for my cover. Two seasoned creatives and most sought after individuals in the fashion industry both in Mexico City and globally. 

I have been fortunate enough to have their support for several years and they always come through beyond my wildest dreams and expectations. Thank you Ivan and Ness for your beautiful cover and inside feature story. 

I look forward to many more in the upcoming years ahead. 

I have been manifesting and dreaming of working with the iconic Erez Sabag for many years Erez is one of those people who is not only one of the most epic photographers in the world he also is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met and I can let my hair down with him and truly be my authentic self. 

This is one of his greatest gifts amongst his beautiful humility and kindness and altruistic work that he does for raising money for breast cancer. 

The fact that he created something spectacular for this issue in collaboration with the gorgeous Yeha Leung. This was indeed an honor on all levels and a huge treat for me. Thank you Erez. 

Both Erez and Yeha are icons in their own right. Wait till you see the back cover. Their inside feature story it’s absolutely marvelous and such a perfect example of what can happen when two amazing creatives come together and make magic.

Thank you Erez and Yeha for making my dreams come to light in “Do Not Disturb” I loved connecting you both together to create. I knew the outcome would be magical. 

As I have mentioned on my posts this is my season to style, creative direct and produce beautiful work both for Faddy Magazine USA and commercially with clients.

Last and certainly not least. I would love to thank Lera Loeb, Marc Cornwall, Romero Jennings and Li Murillo. 

Lera, Marc, Li and Romero have their DNA deep in the pages of almost every issue of FADDY Magazine USA from the beginning. 

They are my heart and when I need them they are always there for me. I couldn’t have gotten through this past year without you and I’m truly grateful for your friendship and support for Faddy Magazine USA. Thank you. 

In this issue I decided to put my styling, creative direction and producing into full effect in this issue. With several projects and collaborations. 

One particular story that I’m passionate about is working on “Perpetual Revival” with my protege and mentee Foster Caleb which whom I’m very proud to say that creating with him was a magical experience for everyone on this team. 

When I commit myself to a story it’s an all or nothing experience. I’m very proud of this work and putting all of our gifts to work most of all I’m proud of Foster for being the ultimate professional and team player. Remember you can’t make epic magic happen without an amazing team and great communication all the way around. I hope you enjoy “Perpetual Revival” as much as we enjoyed creating it.
